Here are some photos taken at Upper Antelope Canyon in Page AZ on the way to the Smugmug Utah Shootout. Shooting the slot canyons was way up on the top of my list of pre-shootout locations to visit. I spent two days in Page where I shot both Upper and Lower Antelope.

Hi Bob. Thanks for looking and commenting. My exposure times were much less than yours. I used two camera and lens combinations, 1DmkIII w/16-35mm and 20D w/8mm. The first 5 photos were exposed between 1-3 seconds, f/5.6, ISO 200. The last one was f/13, 6 sec, 100 ISO. It was really quite busy in the Upper canyon so I needed to shoot fast.:D

I've been wanting to experience the slot canyons for some time.
After being there, I am still in awe of their beauty.

Hi Bryan. Thanks for the comments. When I planned on going into the slot canyons I thought a fisheye lens would be a natural. I bought one just before the trip and ended up using it a little bit everywhere. So far I am happy with the results.

Thanks for the comments. I tried to get the Canyon X tour but it was booked up. I could be convinced to go back in 2009!!!!

Hi Rocky. Thanks for commenting and inquiring. My beginning post pictures were all from the Upper canyon. The Lower canyon was much narrower and deeper requiring the use of steps and ladders. Here are some from the Lower canyon.
