Some Flower Stamens

I took some photos the other day of some flower stamens so I thought I might put them up together as a set.

    Hi Steve.... wow the first one looks like a weird flower at that closeness.
    I like the softness of the last shot, gives the appearance of pompom balls,

    Nice shots Steve, what f stop were you taking them at? Great colours throughout. The first is my fave.

    Steve, nice series. I find the small structures of flowers fascinating so these
    are right up my alley. The combination of colors and textures in #1 is my
    favorite.

    That flower might have been a hibiscus or similar... (maybe??)
    yeah, the pompoms on the end look very cute.. :D

    I nearly always use f/11, and 1/180 or /1200(ish) and iso200..
    Plus the offboard elcheapo flash..
    and i change the fec(flash exposure compensation) depending on brightness of subject..
