Under Fog

Back from my wonderful October trip I am going thru the last of the Autumn photos. The early morning fog is common this time of year for the area. I was on top of a ridge and able to take a picture of the town under fog. Eventually, it rose to the top of the hill where I stood and...not being able to see ten feet in front of me. Contrast that with a crisp, cold, clear afternoon! The sun was beautiful but it was COLD.

C,C appreciated for next trip; Lord willing!

Hi Eia. #2 looks cool with the stacks sticking out of the fog. I also really like #5 but I think you should P/S out the power lines. Nice Pics. thumb.gif

Eia, yikes! Those are some cool colors. I like the first one, and I think if you saturated a bit more the blueish tone in the sky, it might add well to it. Those reds in #3 are so captivating. I am very partial to the style of #4. I love trees, and those bare branches, and the isolation, really speak to me.

I really need to get to a spot like the one depicted in the last shot! : )

    Thanks for sharing these!

Good work! I like #3. Why don't you clone out those extraneous leaves in the top left corner. Also, the sky might benefit from a graduated neutral density filter adjustment in PS.

    Great colors!

Now that I look at these again, I think #2 would also benefit from a little grad ND filter in PS. And I would crop out some of the top of the sky. Something like this:

Wonderful! I especially like #4--it gives a mysterious feeling that could be open to lots of stories and ideas. I like #5 also. I glanced at your site also--lots of great shots with some strong colors. Nice work!
