    woah, old birds. Nice thumb.gif How did you get an unobstructed view of these two?

    As from an image technical point of view, I think both images can do with less extreme cropping. A little bit more room to breath would benefit the image, I think.

    I cropped the first to get as much 'airport junk' as possible out of the picture, steps, belt loaders etc
    Aircraft photographers usually don't want anything in the pic except the aircraft
    others may see it differently, I don't know

    Nice shots. I shoot a lot of airshows and planes in many other type situations. Generally speaking, I , also, crop out extraneous elements. Unless some other inclusion helps to tell a specific story, I'll leave out unnecessary objects, etc. Most aviation photographers seem to endorse that practice.
