Help! Which email to choose?

Hi!
I'm new, please forgive me if this is the wrong spot to post this.
I've just upgraded my account with SmugMug to Pro. Along with the "funky fresh" upgrade came the web domain from Go Daddy and ALL the options and issues that go along with it.:huh (I've never felt my brain physically tork until now....Yeesh! )
O.K., so here is the question......
With registration from Go Daddy comes a free email credit. I'm "assuming" that means an email for the page that potential clients can contact you...but I've been wrong before. (if that is the case) Is there a site that will show pros vs. cons of each type of email option? My options are Personal Email, Forward Email, SMTP Plans, and Microsoft Email Plans. One would think a google search would supply such a comparison to help the adverage dummy as myself
...but no such luck. How do I decide which to use?
