Holy cannoli does it really look like that? I haven't been to Yellowstone before, and it looks like another planet completely.

Yeah, it pretty much looks like that. And when you do go, be sure to bring your CP filter to cut the glare off of the surface of the springs to reveal the absolutely unreal colors underneath.
