hosting my domain, cname and mx records

Hi, I currently have my domain CNAME info point to domains.smugmug.com. I also have some sub-domains pointed to my own host via A records. In addition to this, I have my MX records pointed to google (google apps for your domain).
I'm trying to pinpoint where my problem is. From nearly any email service I've tried, sending to linh@mydomain.com works fine. However, I just notice from my work email, linh@mydomain.com actually tries to send to linh@domains.smugmug.com
why in the world would this happen? Anyone have any ideas? I'm used to just using A records, so I'd know it's an issue with my work host. But I'd figure I'd ask here to get some input.
Thanks
Linh

A CNAME properly configured will not change your email destination. That is what they are for. It allows email to go one direction, and web requests to go another.
Either your work DNS server has a cached version of an incorrect setup, the server is just plain stupid :-) , or the DNS is setup incorrectly. You do not list your domain so I cannot check it.
Send me an email on the help desk and I can take a look. I will need the name of your domain host, the login, and password.
You may have to get your domain host to take a look. Something may be incorrect on their end.
I am stepping out now but I will be back later today.
