I just added a new gallery to my site: "Uniquely Urban." I've found some fascinating scenes in parts of San Antonio I'd not been to until a photographer friend took me shooting a couple of weeks ago. C&C welcomed! Thanks, Lauren

Bump for possible comments. 90 Views and no C&C? I hope somebody has some comments or suggestions. I'm really enjoying my foray into urban/downtown shooting so I'd appreciate any reviews.

    Thanks,
    Lauren

#2 is interesting, Try cropping out the pole on the left & it could use some more pop.

I like the idea in #4, but the back 2 build appear flattened together. Maybe a different angle or time of day might help seperate them. Looks like the front building may have some interest character during dusk/dawn. I ran across some location that may be worth checking out in that general area last weekend. Just east of IH37 on Houston St there are some warehouses and train tracks that are begging for photographic exploration.

    Craig-

I was just in that spot last night! After I left the cemetery to head towards town, I came upon a vacant warehouse/factory with loads of possibilities. I snapped a couple shots quickly, but they didn't come out well at all. I plan to go back in the next couple of days. I imagine it is the spot you mention at Houston St. Definitely some shooting to be done there!

Feel free to come on a shoot sometime!

Sounds like a plan to me. Have the fired up the Christmas lights on the riverwalk yet? I was too wiped out from shooting the R&R Marathon to go look.

    Cheers
