I liked the wood/cloth of the pews..shot in horrid lighting on 40D with 50mm f/1.4 ISO 1600 handheld @ 1/50th.

Lots to improve on it, but still like it. Comments welcome!

    The texture of the pew cushions is well worth your time. There's a lot of potential there. But, as you say, I think you need to work on the composition a bit more. The line running down the center of the image needs to be changed. Perhaps you can incorporate the repetition somehow.

    I like it too, that think on the floor at the back of the shot what is it?
    tried cloning it out to see what it's like?

    I actually don't mind the way this shot has been done, except for the back of the image on the left hand side.

    Nice going for hand held in crappy lighting thumb.gif ... Skippy :D
