Pocket Wizard vs Radio Popper

I cant decide. I know the PW has been the standard. Tried and true I'm inclined to get it. However then I see the RP that can do TTL. As I'm still wet behind the ears I see there might be situations where this comes in very handy. Exp when hubby (who has no desire to learn how to manually set a flash) wants to use it. However what I see on their site still looks a bit 'gimmicky'. Taping the sensor on? At this point while I think TTL would be nice I'm leaning toward the PW for it's more refined finish (no tape needed!) and longer history in consumer hands.
What's your opinion?
One more question. I have an Xti (that I'm hoping to upgrade in the not to far off future) a 580ex and a 430ex. If I want BOTH flashes off camera do I need a transmitter and one receiver or two? Will the 580 trigger the 430 if the 430 doesn't have it's own receiver?

If you want to shoot at shutter speeds above your x-synch (I think that's 1/200s) with your XTi, you will want to go with the RP - the PW will limit you to the x-synch speed. The RP, because it's transmitting the E-TTL data, will allow you to enable High-Speed Shutter Synchronization.
If you want both flashes off-camera, you will need something to generate the TTL communications with these flashes - whether you use RP or not. This means that you will need another 580 or the ST-E2. The RP will not generate the TTL communications data stream, it will simply propogate it to the receivers.
