Mountain Flowers.

On the way out of Yosemite, on the way home :( we passed these poppies in bloom. The were NOT in bloom on the way in. We had to stop.

    That last shot has a wonderful Georgia O'Keeffe feel to it. When did you take these and at what approximate elevation?

    I took them 2005-05-08 18:20:49 EST acording to my camera, which would have been 3:20 PM Pacific, which sounds a little late. I think it was more like 1 PM, The elevation is a guess, but I would say 4000' ASL.
