Canon 24mm 2.8 MF Problem
Hi, I bought a used Canon EF 24mm/2.8 AFD lens on ebay. I noticed
that when I am in AF mode and let the focus snap to infinity or the
closest focus distance and then switch to MF mode I cannot focus.
It seems that the focus ring does not catch on the internal focus mechanism.
Is this normal, or is it a sign of wear and soon failure of MF/AF switch? The
problem does only appear at the extreme focus settings.
