Any ideas on what this is please. A gnat or crane fly perhaps.
These were taken using my new MR-14EX, so please let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

#3 is a chironomid midge (they don't bite)
Lighting is good but perhaps a bit flat in #3.
Never used a macro light but with this type think you are supposed to get better results putting the power ratio to 4:1 or higher to get some shadowing.
