I was browsing though your reviews, and came upon this screenshot you posted (4th picture down from this review link):

What software are you using? I know its for a mac, but I havn't found anything to my limited knowledge that shows me the focus matrix.

if anyone else can save Andy the trouble and knows what it is, all help is greatly appreciated
My Equipment:
Canon 20d + Grip / Canon 580 EX / Canon 17-40L / Canon 24-105L / Canon 70-200 f2.8 ISL / Mannfrotto 055MF3 Tripod w/329RC4 Head.

Hoping to get back into the art and improve my skills whenever needed.

hopefully I have it... I lost my empty camera bag with my canon cd's in it due to something feeling like they needed it more than me a year back :(

I did, but it doesn't show up as an available program for XP

That's the stupid way that Canon does their site. You have to allow pop-ups. I had the same problem.

I think that you must borrow a disc from anyone that has Canon camera and install it even if it's a very old version....then update using the link I gave you. I forgot that you must have a program on your computer before the downloaded updates will work.

There's a way to hack your registry to make the Canon update utility think it's actaully doing an update. Take a look at this for information. I've not tried it and if you do .... well .... you're on your own.
