Cracks me up how far I had to go into the back country to get this. The good part is that it's just thrashed and not full of the usual trash and covered in graffiti.
Thanks- I've been trying to get almost a pen-and-ink look on my B&Ws lately.
Misfits too lazy to carry a gallon of paint the distance. Like you say.
A good thing though.
To my eye your getting that appearance your seeking. As for myself I
continue to struggle with impactful BW conversions. Its hard enough
to acquire an image suitable for conversion let alone nail the conversion.
These old homes you folks find are really interesting.
I like where you placed the door frame in the shot ... Skippy

Shades of Hyperion photography
Extraordinary photos can not be had standing where everyone else is standing, looking where everyone else is looking
Thanks.
Thank you Skippy. I tried to line everything up to where it had kind of an illusionary look to it.
Thanks. I used to draw a lot, and there's no time for it anymore, but I still like making the look. I didn't mess with B&W conversions until a few years ago when my brother mentioned that he seen some potential in my work for the conversions. I was a bit surprised. Not all worked out at first, but now I can just about call them when I shoot.
