Please excuse the totally noob question, but what is the correct format for keywords in 1: The gallery keywords section and

2: The individual photos within a gallery.

Point me to a link if that helps.

Maybe I should make myself clearer.

Are words separated by commas or semi-colons or spaces etc.

ie: is there a set way to add keywords

Just add your keywords with a space between them. Multiple word keywords
get quotes around them. Order doesn't mater

    keyword1 keyword2 "multi keyword1" keyword3 "multi keyword2"
blue yellow "light blue" green "dark green" "really dark green"

I did mine like I usually do anywhere else,

    keyword1; keyword2; keyword three; keyword4; etc; etc;

will that still be ok or will I have to redo them all :cry

I moved this over to SmugMug support, since it's not customization thumb.gif

For details on keywords, see: http://www.smugmug.com/help/keywords-tags

Make sure to click on the 'I want all details' link.

    Warning, warning, warning!

If you literally enter a keyword like:

    game1

it will enter and you will see it listed as keyword, but it will not work - if you click on it in the keyword listing, the image you attached it to won't show up. Smugmug does NOT index mixed alphanumeric keywords unless you put double quotes around them. So, if you wanted a keyword like game1, you have to enter it as

    "game1"

with the quotes around it. This is workable when entering keywords in Smugmug, but causes all sorts of problems when importing images that already have keywords like this attached to them because they won't work without redoing them in Smugmug.
