Fantastic lighting on the first. Wow!! The composition is also great with the winding road and the trees for scale. thumb.gif

Excellent Phil I know all the places very well. On the first shot of Kirkstone on that road down to Ambleside you would see a big slate quarry on the right hand side. The composition is excellent. When did you take the shot of Kirkstone?. I have a reason for asking. Pm me with the result.
    Regards
    Bob

    Phil

You took me back QUITE a few years. I grew up close by (NE Lancs) and took D of E students hiking in the lakes. Love the color! I now live 6,000 miles away and have had to substitute Yosemite for the Lakes. Not really equivalnet, both are stunning but different.

    Thanks
