It was my sister's 25th birthday party last Saturday and here are a few of my favourites from a MASSIVE set on flickr. ***CLICKY CLICKY***


Had the pleasure of using a Canon 17-40mm f4 L (Must get one now. It's just immense)

Setup:
Nikon SB24 on 1/2 power fired into 33" translucent brolly.

Lenses: Canon 17-40mm f/4 L USM, Canon 50mm f/1.8 II, Canon 70-200mm f/4 L USM, Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM.
Lighting: Canon 430EX II, Nikon SB24, Konig stand, Stofen omnibounce, 33" brolly, DIY beauty dish + diffusers.
Misc: UV+CPL filters, reverse mount adapters, Velbon tripod. Photoshop CS3

    Great shots!

    My one nitpick? In the first photo, I'm not too thrilled with the shadow on the guy's face. I like the "hint" of shadowing the lady gets, but the gentleman's face is just too much in the darkness for that one. Otherwise, great set!

    Cheers Nick - Ideally i'd have liked to have a two strobe setup and crosslight them but budget constraints are a real issue at the moment! :p
