South Africa is a haven for those interested in large Douglas piston engined aircraft.
Here is an non exhaustive selection.
The last image was taken in a casino where it is built into the structure of the building.
Most of the rest were taken at Rand Airport or the South African Air Force museum at Zwartkop.

Glad you explained that last shot. Neat image and a cool way to
put a work horse plane back to work.

At first I thought it looked like a
picture of a poster or some edgy PP work because of the grain and I
was focusing on the top of the photo also.

Thanks for sharing. These bring back memories. I had a metal toy DC3 as a youngster (60 yrs. ago or so). I also recall a terrifying flight in a DC3 from Long Island to Rochester NY in a bad storm on a small airline in the 70's.

Are they restoring the aircrafts or is this a final resting place for some of them?

That last one at the Casino is pretty interesting.

    Thanks for sharing thumb.gif .... Skippy :D

No, nearly all are flyable, except for the one in the casino, of course.
