I love it! Great close up. I didn't try the close up approach while we were there, and now I kinda wish I had. The DOF on the first one is not destracting at all, it really adds to the pic.
Fern Springs
I stood there and stared and stared and couldn't come up with a way to photograph the springs. I felt really uninspired. Oh well, here's an overview:
Canon 1D Mk II N - Canon 5D - Canon EF 17-40 f/4L USM - Canon EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM - Canon EF 85 f/1.8 USM - Canon EF 100 f/2.8 macro - Canon EF 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM

Thanks Jeff, I was pretty excited. I love shooting those springs will have to post my first ones I did sometime soon. I have a few pictures I have not finished from old trips.
So how is your little one bet he was glad dad was home safe. We should all go whale watching sometime it sure is a blast.

I am enjoying everyone took some great pictures and its fun to see the diferent looks I mean like Jeff said there was like nine of us all standing there with tripods so the diversity is wonderful.
