in the mag "creative review" some of the issues have included photo business cards that are larger than the standard size, they are 5" x 3.25". little bit heavier weight. two sided. the paper is by tullis russell in england; they don't sell retail. and I've noticed at some art fairs that some artists are using this size (and even larger sometimes). does anyone know of a source where one could get this size of blank card stock, preferably pre perfed? or are there printing services that can do this? I've been experimenting making these on double sided matte paper, but hand cutting them is very time consumlng. thanks.:D

I personally have been eyeing up the MOO.COM small cards. Big cards are great, but IMO I wouldn't want to carry it if someone handed it to me. I hate when I get handed things that don't fit well in my pocket.

The moo cards are smaller, unique and fit nicely in any pocket.

The moo cards are great. They definitely stand out from the normal stuff. The neat thing about the moo cards (if I'm remembering it correctly) is that you can upload up to a hundred different photos. So if you order 100 mini business cards and upload 100 different images, each card would have a different image on it. Pretty cool.thumb.gif

I ordered 50 of the standard size biz cards from moo. Used 10 different images, so I got 5 cards with each image. People compliment the quality, and with different pics I can tailor cards to different types of customers (eg dog portraits, weddings, etc). They're pricey, but IMHO worth it.

Yeah, MOO is definately pricey. But they are also using some of the nicer card stock I've seen.

I'm using the mini cards and loving them. I have 10 different images used so, as was suggested above, depending on the customer I can give them a horse shot, child, portrait, bull, landscape, cat or dog or whatever is appropriate to their interest. and, the stock and quality are excellent.
