Bought a second body today. woohoo
I was hoping to save photography income for a used 5D as a second body but it seams any time I make some money it goes elsewhere.
So I caved and decided to buy a cheaper used 30D. It was something I could get without saving. I managed to get one listed as MINT off of ebay for $499. On top of that I'm getting 25% cash back from microsoft in January. So a Mint 30D with 2 batteries and 16GB card for $375 isn't bad at all.
If anyone is thinking of buying anything soon, look into that cash back deal. It sounds like a huge pain, but once you do it you realise it is easy.
If I ever do get to save up for a used 5D, I'm sure I can recover that $375 by selling the 30D.
