Are there good instructions anywhere?

This is a most frustrating program; it is as though it is experimental.
Most of the stuff does not really seem to work.
I finally figured out a way to put keywords with my gallery. When I went to search by the keyword it first modified the word I typed then found nothing when I fixed the word.
Arranging photos does not work either; it has no clear directions and those it does have aren't accurate.
Are there any similar programs which have clear direct instructions, clear direct links from one part to another?
Alternately; has anyone ever seen clear directions for this program?
