Jumping for the Arch

I travel on business and was in ST. Louis so I took a walk to the arch to get some shots. I got some generic pictures and as I was leaving I went for some last clicks while laying on the grassy slope approaching the arch.

I was looking down and examining my shots of the hour and heard some laughing, looked up and saw two girls jumping while their friends snapped shots from down below. I quickly framed and pulled the trigger once on what was their last jump.

The original photo has the very top of the arch clipped off, about the top 1mm of the arch on this particularly sized photo i am posting, so the tippy top was added in PP from another shot. Besides that, the only adjustments were in lightroom - tone curves, sharpening, NR and saturating some of the blues, yellows & reds.

    Howdy Athos,

WOW, what a stunning shot all around from the beautiful composition of the arch, the colors in the Sky and Trees, and then the great impact of the 2 girls jumping.

Very nicely seen and captured, one for the wall for sure.
    Take care,
