What Battery Pack do you use??

Posting this here because I want responses from sports photogs.

When you are shooting sporting events with a flash, what external battery packs to people use and what kind of performance (recycle time, nbr of flashes, etc) do you get from yours.

I have a Quantum Turbo, which used to work fine however, now that I have a Canon 580ex I am finding compatibility issues and I also am finding that the battery has to be replaced if I don't use it for several months (typically I have been using it for night time football but not much else)

I use a homemade one with a SLA battery lasts forever.
6 volt,7 ah in a small camera bag that goes on my belt.
