Well my first major venture into some wildlife photography. Shot at Berry College in Rome, GA. This was a shoot to show a friend how to work his new camera and to try out my new Sigma 50-500mm F/4.0-6.3

These are straight from the camera:

I suck at Photoshop so any editing tips are greatly appreciated. The Deer shots were taken early so color is lacking there. Maybe I will convert those to black and white. These were all taken on a mono pod. Will post more later once I go through them.

1st one put a big smile on my face...:D Looks like it's worth some PP time, imo.

3 & 5 are tough because of the strong backlighting.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

A very good first time out. You already know how expensive photography can be but I have a feeling your expenditures are about to go up. mwink.gif There is no escaping now.

Nah I can't spend more. The bank(wife) already claims too many withdrawals!
