Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me.

If I take an image from my Smugmug site, right click and save it to my hard drive, when I open that file in camera RAW, (I open all JPG's in camera RAW then move on to CS3) I have a different language other than english show up.

How can I stop this from happening?

I'm using an IMac with OS 10.5.5

That's something I've never seen before Dave. Instead of Right clicking (turn Right Click Protection on!!) you should be using Owner Save on the fly out PhotoBar. If your not familiar with that it's a save option that is only available when you are logged into the site: http://www.smugmug.com/photos/424993491_b3ES8-O.jpg. Try that and see if anything changes.

First thing, what PS are you using.
I think the first program to do this was CS3.
I believe that it's somewhere in the Preferences, in either CS3 or bridge.

Using CS3. Checking Bridge now... oh yeah, there it is, open in Camera Raw. The option in PS CS3 is in Preferences->File Handling. Thanks!

I just tried to reproduce your problem, and all I got was English. But I don't have any other localities installed on my laptop. I'll try again from my other system tomorrow...

P.S. The language shown is Japanese... or does it rotate?

See as I can't read it, I don't know if it rotates or not.:D

As far as I know, I have no other localities listed on the IMac, well, any of my computers for that matter.

This is kind of a new condition, within the last couple of months.
I must have "flipped a switch" somewhere in the program by mistake.
Maybe I'll go to the Adobe site, and ask their tech.

On a PC, hold down Ctrl and the R key when you select the image.

Well, tonight I looked through the preferences on the IMac.
It would allow other languages to be used. I turned those off, and for right now, it seems to be working right.
What I did to make this happen, I have no idea. But it seems to be fixed now.

    Thanks for helping guys.
