Hello

I haven't used the forum here much and thought I would give posting a try.

Hopefully the EXIF info should be there with the image........

A Tufted Titmouse is not very exotic but beautiful nonetheless. Taken on an overcast day (my favorite kind for close-ups) with soft light. A touch of fill was used to assist in this hand held exposure. I was probably about ten feet away.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Well hello! What a great start. Wonderful background, creamy smooth. Great detail in this titmouse. Love the side profile. The titmice I know won't let me get within 50 feet it seems.

Is it titmice or titmouses? rolleyes1.gif

The trick is not approaching them but becoming a shrubbery and allowing them to approach you. That and body language that doesn't say I am a predator here to eat you........ mwink.gif

When I find a good spot I like the be a tree method, when I'm mobile it's the grazing herbivore technique.

    Mice, mouses, or meeses???? thumb.gif
