i am more interested in the high key photography
but then horsed around with levels and saturation and stuff.

so far i only shoot my kids and my gf...so sometimes when they're sick of the photography i have to venture to the other side of the lens.

:)
comments?

Nice! I like to see photos every once in awhile that are "different". I would love to know how you did this one as far as the high key goes. I am starting to take an interest in it and would love a few tips.

Keep up the great work. clap.gif

    thanks!

heres a photo that i *think* is high-key?
i'm new to photography..so am not quite sure what exactly is high-key.
i'm sure i could use the search function on this site and get a good definition...and i'm sure i'm wrong
    Laughing.gif

anyway...whether or not it's hi-key...i like shots that the background disappears...

here's a really crappy sketch of how i lit this shot.
i tacked a white sheet to the ceiling and put a strobe behind the sheet on high power so that when it went off...the sheet was like a huge soft-box.
i used one other light..to light the model (me) Laughing.gif off to the side.

    anwyay...thats what i did..
im sure there are "real", professional ways ot handle it..but this is how i handle my favorite types of shots.

attaching the crappy sketch adn a couple of examples.

    Very cool!

#1 The shoulder just gets too lost for me. I would like to see more detail in this area. If you could bring back more detail in that area and just a slight seperation between the model and BG, I think this would make an awesome print to hang on the wall.

#2 Absolutely loving it. Would like to see a version with just a tad more fill from the front.
