Rotate photos

Is anyone else having problems rotating photos in the galleries? I used my dad's camera for an event in addition to mine and mine rotated the images automatically in my normal workflow, but it didn't do the same for his - and I didn't notice it as such until I had already uploaded them to SM (software doing things automatically for me again... gotta stop that).

So the easiest way for me to fix this is to rotate them using the SM tool, but it doesn't appear to be rotating anything. Am I missing something?

When servers are busy, the rotating can take a little while.

I retract my earlier request - I thought I had waited long enough to check (10 to 15 minutes), but after posting this and going back and checking the rotation had happened. So the problem was on my end - between the chair and the keyboard.
