The sign on the right says;
"Historical District - Enjoy, Do Not Destroy!"

I know a bit about this building, and even though I've met the man who lived here as a child, I believe the home is historical only in that it hasn't fallen down yet.
Anybody can do it.

    Maybe it is because of the sign that the place hasn't been thoroughly
    trashed just yet. Net you met some of its history.

    Unfortunately vandals really don't care what signs say,
    they just destroy because they can ne_nau.gif

    Wonder if the man you met put the sign up?
    Maybe hanging on to a piece of his past.
