Savannah Sparrow - The overlooked bird

Large numbers of these Savannah Sparrows are now at the Viera Wetlands, hanging out right at the waters edge.......... They are overlooked by most photographers

A very nice wintering sparrow. They are very common in North Central Texas. In the spring, they are especially handsome with that yellow streak that becomes very prominent just above the eye.

Yes, I only see these birds in Florida during the winter months, and they always seem to be near a body of fresh water.

Not just overlooked but they can present a nice challenge when you do find them too. Nicely done.
