Thank you all for the kind comments. This shot is pretty much straight out of the camera with a little cropping and sharpening.
The sky was dark all morning but I saw an opening of light in the distance so I waited for 15 minutes. Finally, the light hit for about 30 to 45 seconds and this is what I came away with.
Great photo ! It seems to me the barn is to high up in the frame.
I think if you crop the FG field in half it will balance out the crop a bit
better and lower the barn in the frame. Other than that great job
and thanks for posting.
Thank you for the suggestion. I tend to stick with the photo ratio and never do odd cropping. Also, when I shot the photo I was thinking 3rds with the grass and field being a 1/3, the barn being 1/3 and the sky being 1/3
