sunshine and buffleheads

got a break in the gray drippies today, so i went to the park to see if there was anything worth shooting. silly me.. there's always something there worth shooting! 40D, 400mm, 1/1600 @ f/6.3...

    Always something worth shooting is right, this little guy certainly was. The spread tail on the BIF is nice.

    thanks, guys.. i'm always pleased when i can get these guys in flight, they're quite fast and a challenge to shoot!

    Nice captures! Buffleheads are one of my two favorite ducks (Pintails are #1) so I really appreciate these.
