Who has heard of this, tried it, used it, loved it, or hated it?
I just recently found out about this, and their rental prices are way cheaper than my local renting place, even including shipping.
So how is the quality of the lenses (really used and rough, or in more like new condition), how is their shipping quality (time/packaging of), and all that other fun good stuff...
They had some killer deals on there and am looking at renting a couple lenses for my three week Alaska trip back home for winter break.
Thanks for any info anyone can give!

In fact, I think at least half of the attendees of the last DGrin Shootout had at least one lens rented from borrowlenses.com (me included!)
(that is how I try all my lenses before I buy them...)
Go for it!
I used them, and had a great experience.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Oh, and no worries about return shipping. It's part of the rental and they include a return shipping label. Just re-pack the lens in the manner you received it, tape up the box, slap on the label, and drop it off - easy stuff.

Awesome, I can't wait. I just reserved the Canon 10-22 and Sigma 50-500 for my trip. Going to Anchorage for a week followed by Juneau for two.
SO FREAKIN EXCITED!

Have a great trip!
Anchorage on the other hand..:-/, just going there to see my dad and show my room mate moose, snow, and northern lights. She's never been to Alaska. So hopefully I can get some shooting in while I'm up there. Don't know any where to go though...Any suggestions? I haven't been to Anchortown since I was like 8.
