Hi Y'all,

Since I moved to Florida my personal nemesis has been the belted kingfisher. As soon as I even thought of taking a picture of them they would fly off. The last few weeks have been a different story.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

A nemesis bird for many, many photographers for certain. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't laugh at you as they fly away. :bluduh

Looks like you got a handle on this one and it looks real nice, congrats!

Way to go, Harry!! thumb.gif They seem to fly off even before you realize they are there, but you can always hear them as they depart. Good job on this set.

This bird has apparently made your photos look a little less god-like. Let's hear it for the kingfisher. rolleyes1.gif

And I thought I was the only one that that was harassed by these guys. You now have several more than I do Harry. Good show! I can't believe you actually got it in flight.

Hey give me a break in factor in the difficulty factor here. :D A kingfisher BIF is not the easiest of captures.

Thanks Stephen, it was probably the most difficult BIF I've captured.
