Point and shoot quick question

Hello all,

I have a quick question, I bought my girlfriend a Canon PowerShot SD770IS for Christmas. Is it safe for me to charge the battery the night before and leave it in the box, but not in the camera, that way it will be ready to go when she opens it? I also got her 4GB memory card, that should be plenty with a 10MP camera right?

Thanks,
Byam

Yeah that fine. I did that for my son's camera last year. 4GB is more than enough.

FWIW - 15524779-Ti.gif on both counts.

I'm guessing that 4GB will get something in the neighborhood of 300 - 400 large/fine JPG images.
