Max photo size option via CSS?

Is there a CSS or other hack that would only show the users a size option up to X, but actually have larger sizes available? I understand this would not be 'secure' and that anyone could simply replace the filename suffix with -O (for example), but it'd help out a little bit, especially with right click protection enabled. I'd like users to only be able to display up to large, but when I'm logged in I'd like to see all of the options up to Original.
