    In looking at the clamp that's on the Acratech ballhead now, it looks like I could remove it with an Allen wrench. I think. ne_nau.gif
    Hi Sid, not sure if you got your question answered by now, but I bought the Acratech sans clamp and mated the RRS clamp with it. As Pathfinder suggested it's a standard connection.

    Thanks Jack. I've been puzzling over my Acratech, which I bought a couple of years ago with a clamp attached. I think I can unscrew the clamp, but I'm not sure. headscratch.gif Hence my confusion about how to mount a quick-release, bubble level RRS clamp.
