Hello Photogs!

I can't seem to find the time to post here very much. But, I try as much as possible!

Anyway, thought I would share a few from this last weekend.

Have fun!

    Nice shots.

    I really like black backgrounds.

    Do you use Lightroom?

I found the local adjustment tool great for dropping the black to completely black. they key (for me) was to use it subtly-- dropping the exposure by 1 or less. that way, if I spill over onto the subject it is not too noticeable.

Forgive me, I am probably thinking of my experience more than your pictures here, but I did see a touch of the black background which I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to drop to completely black.

Yes sir, I do use lightroom. I just drop the light, right behind the subject and I use a forward facing hairlight to help cancel the light from the main and fill. Not sure if it is the best way to do it, but it seems to work ok.
