EzPrints 2.0

Anyone had a chance to check out the new EzPrints yet?

My take so far is as follows:
  1. The site is slow
  2. All my previous account information is no longer available.
  3. The process of ordering prints is confusing. From their products page it seems that sometimes you'll get information on a product (which I'd expect) and other times it takes you to an order form for that product instead.
  4. The image quality indicators are no longer available. I uploaded a 15k image at 100x200 pixels and the site would have let me order a 30x40 print with no warning.
  5. I can't seem to find the ability to crop images any longer to fit the size of the print. ...this issue alone would prevent me from ever using EzPrints.com directly again.
  6. Still no die-cut wallets
  7. Still no white label or drop-ship ability.
I gotta believe I'm still missing something there as some of these issues are real showstoppers. So someone clue me in here if I'm missing something.

otherwise, I'm curious to hear what others think. ...but I'm still much happier using Mpix for most of my direct and custom stuff.

SmugMug...it's still my wish that you switch to Mpix, and/or at least a printer who offers die-cut wallets, and white label or drop-shipping.

thanks everything...and Gobble Gobble

Thanks Andy. any guesstimates as to when? I won't hold your fee to the fire on it, but I'm just curious and trying to plan some future jobs.

two more items I forgot to include from EzPrints that I'd like to see.
    7. Mounting options such as Matboards and/or Foamcore
    8. Proof Portfolio's (If you haven't seen these, check out Mpix...my customers love them!)

We do not give dates. We don't usually even comment on stuff in the works, but this cat was let out of the bag a little while ago.

    Stay tuned.

PS: Don't need to see Mpix, for proof portfolios. I walk in your shoes, remember? You'll love our pro lab offering.

I tried ordering directly from ezprints a month or two ago. They had no idea how to sell prints sales-tax free to another Georgia based business. They said they would "research it" and get back to me. To this day I haven't heard any results of their research.
Because of some time constraints, I did place an order (and had to go through a tax refund hassle with the GA Dept. of Rev.). I had quality issues with one print and was not impressed with the packaging of the shipment.
I realize SM has nothing to do with orders SM members submit directly to ezprints, but the experience again caused me to wonder about the service/quality of orders placed by customers through SM and filled by ezprints.

definitely agree about the packaging. I just had a few 16x20's come in and they were just slapped into a cardboard envelope and part of one had a crease. ...I'm definitely using MPix from now on when i order directly.
