thumbnails missing for sub galleries

I went into site wide custumization and selected the "stretchy" option, to see how it would work. When I view my web page the thumbnails for the sub-galleries were missing. :scratch

I went back in and deselected the "stretchy" option but the thumbnails were still gone.

http://leiningerphotos.smugmug.com/Family is one of the pages that just showed little dots instead of thumbnails.

Any ideas?

So sorry. It seems we recently broke something there. This only happens in internet explorer. If you have your galleries set to display by categories and you have a gallery inside the category that has a featured photo, then the thumbnail on the category won't show. Same thing happens with a subcategory. It doesn't matter which gallery in the category it is. The only way to make the thumbnails show is to remove the featured photo. That's in the Tools menu under the Gallery section. Again, we're sorry about this and we'll get to fixin' it.

Well that kind of bites ....considering everything was fine up to that point. I guess it was the change in my customization that triggered the broken link to show up on my site...bummer. I should have left well enough alone..:D

Wow removing the featured photos takes forever!

Hopefully this will get fixed sometime soon, because I really don't like the looks of the site with all those "protected gallery" thumbnails showing, but they do look better than that little dot.

I'm going to have to leave some of the "dots" for now....too many protected family galleries to mess with...:(:

It looks like someone is working on it, as I can see the thumbs on this page http://leiningerphotos.smugmug.com/Family again, but they still don't show on the galleries page: http://leiningerphotos.smugmug.com/galleries .

So if someone is working on it....keep it up!

Odd - this is sort of doing this to me as well - although I could swear I have featured photos on the Gallery Categoreis that are showing as I tend to put a feature photo on each gallery in the gallery categories. I will be almost impossible to remove the featured photo as each of these galleries categories has roughly 100 galleries in them and each of the galleries have a featured photo...please help soon this looks funky...

Update - looks like you only need to remove the featured photo of the first gallery in the set...ahhh..photo bliss again.
