The second one is definitely a flycatcher, but I am not sure which type because the coloring looks a bit strange. Being so black I am leaning toward whatever type of phoebe you guys have out west.

Thanks Pyry. I went out looking for this thrush that was spotted at the local wetlands, and I wound up getting these guys, along with an egret. I must say, I do like that phoebe Appreciate your help and comment.

Well I had a good starting point with the common moorhen, and then just browsed wikipedia for it's relations living in North-America
