I recently spent 48 hours in the greater "Bay Area" with one of Dgrin's great tour guides, aktse. Even with a great tour guide, this wasn't my greatest performance. I'll blame this one on lack of time and a failed experiment. Davev on the other hand will state it is due to lack of talent. :huh

Either way, hears a couple from the trip.

Looks like you had a couple of nice days here!

There are a few lighthouses along the coast in what'd be considered the Bay Area. You have Point Bonita Light (near the GGB, Montera (the lighthouse in your photo), Pigeon Point (South of HMB) and a couple in the Santa Cruz area.

Thanks for sharing the shots from your trip!

Failed experiment? What were trying? And I wished that you had more time here! You got some amazing frames!

And I bet you have more keepers! clap.gifclapclap.gif

It was such a fast trip! You must come back, but this time, you must bring Kendal!

I also have to thank him because if it wasn't for him, I would have not come back in the evening to shoot the Fresnel light at the pigeon point lighthouse.

Hi Adam! Well, I have 4 more sleeps til I am touring northern Cali, and your images are a great inspiration to me..(well, other than the Calgary Flames images but that is another discussion all together :D ).

April is promising to show us the same sort of sites, the weather looks beautiful, and Nik is planning a special little shoot for Saturday afternoon to boot.

Despite being a Flames game, I quite like the fish eye of the arena, and of course the jelley fish!!!

And I want to see the images that you got when you risked your gear and clothes, per Aprils post!

    Ann,

April was doing a little camera trick with the depth of field. That wave is not as close as it seems.

Here's a couple of other shots from the region. april is familiar with the locations!!:D

It is a huge problem with the Bay Area. There is just not enough great scenery to make the trip here worth it ne_nau.gif

Nice captures of my fav city Grimace. You covered a ton of territory in such a short time.clap.gif
