I moved the subject forward from the background and rearranged the lights. Seems to have much improved the darkness of the background.

Also, some changed PS work, to soften the skin slightly. Comments welcome. Thanks to all for the recent suggestions, they seem to be working!

Like PF says, #2 is, maybe, a touch hot.

I might, also, have put a light on her hair from behind - but that's "seasoning to taste":D Very, very nice!

For the posing, her smile is genuine - love that. Not loving so much her crossed arms.

Very nicely done. Isn't it amazing what some distance from the backdrop will accomplish?

I did not comment on the first set, however I did take a look. These are very much improved. Well done. One would think you've been at it for much longer than you have. clap.gif

I agree with PF and SQ on the nits.
The most efficient use of two lights is having one in front and one on the back in a hair/diagonal rim pattern.
Also, I find it very beneficial for the models to shoot them from above when it comes to upper half or thirds, especially when they are, uhm, a bit on a thick side... mwink.gif

Wow Nikolai, I bet if you read this over you would cringe and wish you could have reworded yourself--at least I hope you would.....she's not even a little "thick" ..normal, healthy with probably an athletic type body. Not thick...
Well, I guess you would call me... genus, humanus... Alice.

nice shots. Whatever you did to the skin on the first set you seemed to not do on that last one. I like it with the skin treatment better.
