Made a second copy of photo and it was placed first in the gallery not next to original.

The worst thing is after moving the 2nd copy to another gallery it lost all
the exif data
. Never happened in the past.

Edit: Used replace to upload a replacement and it has no exif either. :huh

    Checking on it, Al.

Can I get exact details? Photo/gallery etc?

This photo 2nd copied. Copy showed up first in gallery. Used "Move to Gallery"
on 2nd copy to this gallery. Moved copy had no exif. Hit "replace photo" and
uploaded original but it had no exif data either. Uploaded, not replaced, by
simple uploader and it has the exif data. The link above in the moved to
gallery is the newly uploaded one and not the 2nd copy which I deleted. Duh,
should'a left it there to see.

Edit: Just did another 2nd copy/move and it worked. headscratch.gif

The original move was missing it, moving another had the data so hopefully just a one time glitch.

You've stumbled upon one of our bugs. Sorry. Here's the bug. If you upload a photo with an embedded caption then your EXIF information shows up. Fine, that's right. However, if you have an apostrophe in your caption, then when you Make a 2nd Copy, the EXIF info is not copied. Not fine. Sorry about the bug.

Thanks, will have to remember that and just remove the ' before making 2nd copy.
