Why do we not have a thread on this camera yet? :D

On Monday I suspect that we'll have the official release. But when the official nikon pro magazine has it in it.. well, quite official already :)

The specs look great for a landscape/studio camera!

Wow - That sucker is gonna be expensive!

Possibly around 5k in the UK. Hopefully no more than $6000 in the USA. (I know, not a direct conversion, but it never is...)

Personally, I'm only happy because this means the price of the D700 will drop, and eventually we'll see the ULTIMATE Galen Rowell DSLR; the D700X!

D3 has dropped in price to $4500, so most people are guessing the D3x will be $5500 in the US.

I wish the D3x kept the higher ISOs and FPS of the D3, unless the more megapixels/updated sensor/technology gives the higher ISO performance at lower ISOs?

I *really* do like how it will shoot at 10MP in DX mode, so I could still get some use out of my $$$ DX lenses.

I wonder when the D700x is coming.... :)

    Make it around $8000. Ouch!
I can't grasp the notion of time.
