Hi all!

I went out this past week to take some shots in the sand and now I’m stuck. What do you guys think for the MC2 “My Favorite Place”?
In addition to your general thoughts, I'd love to know how these look on your screen (too dark/light/blue etc) Thanks so much in advance for any help :bow

They're both great. Maybe #1 is a little better for the theme

Thanks, I think you may be right on that. How does it #1 look on your screen? I adjusted mine but that will only help if everyone else has an edjusted screed, which I don't think is the case. I'm trying to find a balance. :)

I like both photos. But for the challenge, I think that #1 will be the attention-grabber. The colors look great on my monitor and the silhouette stands out well from the background.

    #2 is it
Great shots! I like #2, but it took me a while to make out that the silhouette is a human figure. If that stood out more (tighter crop?, adjust contrast?), it would be stronger for me.
    Good luck!

Thanks all! Your advice means so much to me! I hope I've found a happy medium between the darker monitors and lighter ones. This has been a real learning experience!

Here is what I've put in for MC2:
