You're in North Carolina then? Do you never get such cold as to see this kind of thing? (I ain't ever been to USA, so I don't know...)

By the time we get hard frosts here (jan/Feb) no spiders webs left.

If I lived in the mountains of NC it would be MUCH more likely. Here in the coastal plain I tend to have the same problem as Brian...
