#2 gets my vote. I like the "little extra's" it offers...the curtain in the window, the cut firewood, the barrel of apples(?), etc. I think it just gives it a more habitable (is that a word?) feel, or a comforting feel maybe. I like the compositon better too! Just my 2cents. They are both very good...Good luck!

I'd certainly stick with #1, I think it a beautiful image, well composed, great clarity and colour......however, are they lens spot/dirt marks/sensor marks in amongst the cloud, either way, maybe a little spot healing wouldn't go astray.

That was done purposefully. It is part of the "antique" looking effect. I made the same mistake about a year ago on someone's photo.
Dan's right -- those spots are the result of the PS action I applied to the photo. There actually were more spots, which I had cloned out. The action I used was called Hand Colored Vintage Photo.

My nerves are just getting frazzled. :oogle With such a mixture of good feedback on both -- it's probably best I just stick with the original.
Thanks again, everyone!
